Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress best known for her roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. The actress was initially famous for her 1980s role in Tezaab where she co-starred along with an established actor Anil Koopor. In the following film, she was a part of Aamir as part of Dil. In Mumbai, she was raised within a middle class family parents. When she was a young age, she started to learn dance. In her early years, as she began to perform as an actor, the majority of films she created did not succeed. Eventually, she found success in Indian cinema and rose to the very top. She decided to take a break from her profession after her wedding before returning to the world of entertainment. More recently she played an integral part in the movie Gulaab Gang which was about the challenges faced by women across India. Dixit has received 15 Filmfare Awards nominations, of which, eight were awarded. Padma Shri - the fourth most highly regarded civilian award in India - was given to Dixit. Social work by her is known to the world.
