MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally to Latin pop. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was the recipient of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Most Popular Song in the year 2017. The year after Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN as his first full-length album. The album peaked at the rank of eighteen in the Top Latin Albums charts. He then was a part of Ozuna on his Top Five smash Vaina Loca. Mala Influencia is his collaborative effort with Noriel in 2020. In the following calendar year Dopamina became his second album. Later in 2021 he performed a duet on TINI's streaming smash single Maldita Foto. An album release in 2023 featuring the mega-hit La Bachata. Turizo was raised within a musical family, as both his mother & his older brother are musicians. In interviews, Turizo has declared that music is essential. While a boy, he studied the guitar as well as the saxophone. The first goal was to be an vet but when his brother Julian was convinced to let him attend lessons in singing with an Cuban musician, he rearranged his the direction of his career.
